EMS helicopter, so called “DOCTOR HELICOPTER”operation
EMS helicopter is the bargaining chip for emergency medical care!
DOCTOR HELICOPTER is operated by the order of Firefighting Dept., with the doctor and the nurse on board, and getting to the point to pick up injured personnel and return to the hospital with performing medical treatment. We execute this program using Leonardo helicopters which have advantage of high speed.
EXAMPLE : DOCTOR helicopter operation
We started EMS operation on/from August, 2015 in Toyama Prefecture. Base hospital is Toyama Prefectural Central Hospital, and we use Leonardo hight speed helicopter. High speed is key issue for emergence medical and Leonardo helicopter is the best tool for this mission. In March, 2017, we startd same EMS operation in Nagaoka Red Cross Hospital.
